python3-pyaudio software package provides Python3 bindings for PortAudio v19, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-pyaudio
python3-pyaudio is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-pyaudio package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-pyaudio *
You will get with python3-pyaudio package name, version, architecture and description in a table
